Crimes reported over the past seven days.

Burglary Dwelling

Between 10.00pm on Tuesday 19 and 4.45am on Wednesday 20 August in Dalestorth Street, Sutton in Ashfield, a house was entered via an unlocked back door and car keys were stolen which were used to take a light blue Jaguar X type car parked on the driveway.

Theft of motor vehicle

Between 11.00pm on Wednesday 13 and 8.00am on Thursday 14 August in Alfreton Road, Sutton in Ashfield, a blue Kawasaki 125-AZ motorbike was stolen.

Around 2.25pm on Thursday 14 August in Bridge Close, Sutton in Ashfield, a white BMW 3 Series M sport car was stolen by two youths wearing dark clothes and helmets who arrived on a motorbike. One drove the car away and the other followed on the motorbike.

At 2.00am on Monday 18 August in Alfreton Road, Sutton in Ashfield, an attempt was made to steal a bike from the front of a house by smashing the securing lock. The thieves, two males aged around 14/15 years, one wearing all black clothing the second in black trousers and a blue hoodie were disturbed by the owner and made off towards Sutton, one riding a mobility scooter.

Theft from motor vehicle

Overnight Thursday 14 to Friday 15 August Outram Street, Sutton in Ashfield, a grey Range Rover Evoque was broken into and a large Rattan Carvela bag was stolen the contents included a Mark Jacobs purse, makeup, straighteners, ear pods and an NHS identity badge.

Theft

Between 12.23am and 12.23pm on Sunday 17 August in Market Street, Sutton in Ashfield, the lock was broken and a garden gate forced to gain entry to a back garden and an electric bike was stolen.

Criminal Damage

ASB

At 5.46pm on Sunday 17 August in Stamper Crescent, Skegby, Sutton in Ashfield, a report of three young lads not wearing helmets, 13/14 years old, taking turns to race a red motocross bike around the nearby park where young children were playing.

At 7.49pm on Wednesday 20 August in John Street, Sutton in Ashfield, a report of a group of youths, 14/16 years old, climbing trees at the rear of a property, damaging birds nests and generally being a nuisance. They had been there for the past 20 minutes.
